St. Petersburg, FL - Bread Winners Bakery, which has been in the mix in St Pete since October of 2009, is expanding.

Florida native Joseph McChesney, who has been baking since age twelve, began cooking at a variety of St Pete-area restaurants and cafés to fully understand both the creative and business operational side of the culinary business.

After being invited to the Saturday Morning Market as a vendor, Joseph launched Bread Winners to a very

hungry crowd. At the Market, Joseph offers a variety of sweet and savory breads that change weekly. From the Root Beer Floatin' bread with root beer schnapps and fresh ground star anise, to the BlueBerryBrownBetty with fresh blueberries and a brown sugar, white chocolate streusel topping.

Keeping it creative and original, we pride ourselves in delivering treats with ingredients that are local, tropical and seasonal. Those whole ingredients allow Bread Winners to deliver the goods.

Bread Winners believes that all friends, including those who must have gluten-free products, deserve a treat. In keeping with that, Bread Winners offers an extensive selection of breads and cakes that exclude wheat, but retain the feeling of decadence. Cakes and pies are also in the mix for catering.

The fan favorite Blackberry Sangria Cake is available along side the to-die-for Orange Ricotta Shortcake. Pies make a bold entrance with the Espresso Tiramisu and St Pete Lime with chocolate bottom and French vanilla cream, among others.
